Established in 1894, Lansdown Golf Club is a private members club, boasting an 18-hole mature parkland course and a well maintained 6-hole academy course. The club prides itself on the condition of the courses and this is reflected in the continual investment made into the facilities and staff.

The Club requires a full-time Greenkeeper to assist in providing first-class facilities to its members and visitors. The role is based on a 40-hour week, with paid overtime as necessary.

Reporting to the Course Manager/Deputy Course Manager, the role involves the daily presentation and upkeep of the course, project work, and all other aspects of turf maintenance.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, committed, and a team player. You will be joining a professional, motivated team dedicated to the upkeep of the courses.

Successful candidates require the following:

A strong work ethic with a focus on attention to detail
A positive attitude with excellent communication skills
A desire to learn and develop within the role
Enjoy working outdoors and in a team environment

Desirable skills/qualifications:

A good knowledge/interest in golf
Previous Greenkeeping/sportsturf experience
NVQ level 2/3 in Greenkeeping or Sports Turf
Chainsaw certificates
