Ladies have been playing golf at Lansdown since 1894 and we are now one of the most successful Ladies Sections in Somerset.

We have a good balance of weekday and weekend players.  Competitions are held on Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays, providing a variety of major trophy competitions, EWGA medals and Knockout competitions throughout the year. 

We have two teams in the Bristol & District Ladies Golf Alliance.  Our A-Team is well established in division one & our B-Team continues to play in division five, having narrowly missed promotion in 2010.

Two Open Competitions are held during the year, one singles and one bowmaker when visitors are hospitably welcomed.

Of course, all games are not so competitive and we often just play social golf enjoying each other’s company and the wonderful scenery surrounding our course.  Social roll ups are on Tuesdays and non-competition Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays.

We also play friendly competitions throughout the year against local clubs including mixed matches with the Gentlemen.

Our course, clubhouse and facilities are first class and we count ourselves fortunate to be members of Lansdown Golf Club.
